MEN’S TEAM

Capital Gymnastics trains Compulsory and Optional Levels 4 – 10. The spectacular talents of our boys have reached Division I College programs, national and international titles, and the Olympics.  Our Men’s Team was home to Olympian Justin Spring, a former Capital athlete.

In addition to paving the road to the Olympics for an athlete, Capital coaches impressively prepare many of their athletes to be sought out for full scholarships to compete in college.

TRAMPOLINE & TUMBLING

Trampoline & Tumbling, often referred to as T&T in the world of gymnastics disciplines includes competition in trampoline, double mini trampoline and tumbling. It also includes synchronized trampoline but Capital does not have the space to support that event. Athletes, male and female can compete in all events. The Junior Olympic (JO) program includes levels 1-10. An athlete may enter the JO program at level 7 or below depending upon the coaches assessment of the athlete. However, once an athlete competes at a level, he/she must meet all mobility requirements in order to move up to the next level. Capital has produced several World Champions in Tumbling in previous years.

XCEL

The Xcel Program is an alternative USA Gymnastics competitive program offering individual flexibility to coaches and gymnasts. The goal of Xcel is to provide gymnasts of varying abilities and commitment levels the opportunity for a rewarding gymnastics experience.

Learn more about our Capital Gymnastics Girls Booster Club

The Booster Club, or CGCBC, operates as its own separate non-profit with 501-c-3 status.  Founded in 2003, it is parent-operated and established to support and encourage girls’ competitive gymnastics. CGGBC fundraises to help defray competition expenses and to further gymnastics opportunities for all female amateur athletes who train at Capital Gymnastics National Training Center, located in Burke, VA.

Each year we look forward to our college-bound seniors to take part in their national signing days. We are so proud of our gymnasts!
