Vladimir Shamenko

Vladimir is from Kiev, Ukraine, who earned a Bachelors Degree in PE and Sports from Kharkov State University.  Vlad has over 50 years' experience coaching, and was the former Ukrainian Olympic Head coach.  Vladimir loves helping boys to obtain their gymnastics dreams.  He enjoys crosswords, sudoku.  For Vladimir, gymnastics runs in the family - both of his sons work in Northern Virginia as boys gymnastics coaches.

Stephen Scheinman

Steve began working for Capital Gymnastics National Training Center as a boy's coach in 1990. Currently he works with Levels 3, 4, 6 and the Boys Pre-Team. He competed in gymnastics for the University of Michigan from 1980-1984. After graduating and earning his Bachelor's Degree, he began coaching boys in Northern Virginia.  Steve coached Olympian Justin Spring.

Alexander Roth

Alexander Roth is from Chicago, and trained at Lakeshore Academy of Artistic Gymnastics under Arkadi Andryushchenko.  Shortly after finishing competitive gymnastics, Alex began coaching recreational and team gymnastics.  Prior to moving to the East Coast of the US, Alex spent six years assistant coaching the boys' competitive team at Lakeshore Academy and helped build the gym's Future Stars program.  More recently, Alex has coached both girls' and boys' competitive gymnastics in Maryland. Alex has experience working with a range of ages and levels, including levels 3-10 in the USAG JO and JE programs. During his free time, Alex purses writing, art, and likes to stay active outdoors.

Andrei Shamenko

Andrei is from Kiev, Ukraine, who graduated from Kiev State University of Physical Education with a Bachelors Degree.  Andrei has been coaching in USA for 22 years. He was a gymnast as a member of the Ukrainian National Team and reached the International Elite level.  Andrei loves coaching, developing young minds and bodies and making a difference in his athletes' gymnastics world.  Andrei loves music, movies, and fitness.  He particularly loves coaching the pommel horse, since it was the hardest event for him to learn.
